Co-Owner of G Jets International & Flying Zebra, LLC
Glenn Allyn
Glenn Allyn, a lifelong resident of New York, began his professional development through formal education focused on business and law. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Management from Hartwick College in Oneonta. He then pursued legal studies at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City, where he was awarded his Juris Doctor. This educational background was the cornerstone for a career evolving through multiple industries, including aviation, law, and real estate.

Transition from Sales to Legal Practice

Following college, Glenn started his career as a sales manager at an automobile dealership in Nyack, New York. After completing his legal education, he joined several New York City and White Plains law firms. Over time, he became a partner in two of those firms. His legal concentration was in aviation law and ski industry liability, where he was involved in complex cases, including those connected to international airline crashes. This experience refined his understanding of legal strategy, particularly in high-risk and highly regulated environments.

Ski Industry Involvement and Coaching

Glenn Allyn was also deeply involved in the ski industry, where a hands-on role in athletic instruction complemented his legal experience. As a J3/J4 ski coach, he trained young athletes in technical skills and race readiness. His students, ages 12 to 15, received guidance in slalom, giant slalom, and general safety practices. He also worked as a staff trainer at a ski resort, responsible for educating instructors on how to teach children effectively, blending mentorship with sports discipline.

Real Estate Projects and Property Management

Glenn’s career also includes 15 years in real estate development and management. He worked on both commercial and residential properties, participating in construction oversight, tenant coordination, and facility maintenance. His responsibilities involved ensuring operational continuity and long-term value in property investments. These roles required financial and logistical planning, which supported his later leadership in aviation.

Early Aviation Roles and Operational Leadership

His aviation journey began as a Learjet captain with Northeast Jet in Allentown, Pennsylvania. From there, he advanced to Director of Operations at Tab Aviation New York and New Hampshire. These roles combined in-flight experience with regulatory oversight. His tasks included crew supervision, flight safety compliance, and operational planning, allowing him to build leadership skills specific to aviation services.

Brokerage and Aircraft Sales Experience

At Best Jets, Inc., he served five years as an aircraft broker and sales associate. His role involved buying and selling various aircraft types, including jets, helicopters, turboprops, and seaplanes. He managed everything from valuations and client communications to contract negotiation and closing. His knowledge of aviation law and technical operations gave him an advantage in handling complex transactions.

Pilot Management and Aviation Consulting

He then held the role of Chief Pilot at M’Air Aviation, where he managed pilot scheduling, risk evaluation, and aircraft performance oversight. His duties included coordinating pilot services, conducting flight operations, and contributing to aircraft sales and charter arrangements. His leadership helped set standards for safety and client service within the organization.

He has accumulated over 30,000 hours in the air, with more than 22,000 hours logged as a lead pilot. His experience spans multiple aircraft platforms, including jets, turboprops, and helicopters, with 1,600 helicopter hours included in his total.
